Who we are
Sunnyside Assets is a locally owned and operated independent asset compliance consultancy based in Northern Tasmania.
We provide playground and park asset inspections, compliance reporting and remedial works to local councils, schools, childcare centres, holiday parks and sporting clubs. The business is led by a principal with over 15 years' experience in engineering, compliance and maintenance - experience that shapes how we approach every site we visit.
Whether it's the playgrounds local kids use after school, the parks where sporting clubs train on weekends, or the equipment at the childcare centre down the road. As a locally owned and operated business, we're not passing through — we live in the same community as the assets we inspect, and our name is attached to every report we sign.
When we flag a defect, prioritise a repair, or sign off that something is compliant, it's with the understanding that we, our families, and our communities will be the ones using these spaces.
It's also why we built the business end-to-end: the same team that identifies a defect can repair and close it out, rather than handing clients a report and disappearing. Fewer contractors in the loop means faster turnaround, clearer accountability, and one point of contact who already knows the site's history — not a new face and a new invoice every time something needs attention.
